100 Year Guarantee
Your wedding gown represents one of the most meaningful investments of your life — and we believe it should last not just for years, but for generations. That is why every dress we preserve comes with our 100-Year Anti-Yellowing Guarantee.
What the Guarantee Covers
Our guarantee protects your gown against yellowing and discoloration caused by oxidation, hidden sugar stains, body oils, and environmental exposure — the most common enemies of preserved fabric. Whether it is ivory silk, white lace, or champagne satin, the guarantee applies to the entire gown.
The guarantee is backed by the Wedding Gown Preservation Company, which has been protecting brides’ gowns since 1913. Over a century of expertise goes into every preservation order we process.
How It Works
When your dress arrives at our facility in Freehold, NJ, our specialists inspect and treat it using our SYSTEMK4 cleaning process, which removes hidden stains at the molecular level before they have a chance to oxidize and yellow over time. Once cleaned, the gown is sealed in an acid-free preservation chest that creates an oxygen-controlled environment — the key to long-term color stability.
The preservation chest is never to be opened until it is time to pass the gown on. Opening the chest exposes the fabric to air and humidity, which can accelerate the aging process. Our team provides complete instructions with every order.
Guarantee Terms
- Valid for 100 years from the date of preservation
- Covers yellowing and discoloration on all fabric areas treated
- Requires the gown to remain in the sealed preservation chest
- Transferable — if you pass your gown to a daughter or granddaughter, the guarantee goes with it
If your gown yellows while properly stored in our preservation chest, we will re-clean it at no charge. That is our promise, in writing, with every order.
Confidence That Lasts Generations
No other investment you make on your wedding day comes with a 100-year written guarantee. We stand behind our work completely — because your gown deserves to be just as beautiful the day it is unwrapped as the day you wore it.
